HP PrinterOn Enterprise

The HP PrinterOn Enterprise solution allows your users to print without installing drivers and without a difficult setup or complicated configuration. Once your HP PrinterOn software is installed and configured, users can submit print jobs to HP PrinterOn-connected printers in a variety of ways, including:

• using the HP PrinterOn Web Print portal
• using the HP PrinterOn Mobile App
• by email
• through Google Cloud Print
• through native Windows print queues, native iOS, or native IPP

With HP PrinterOn Enterprise, administrators create printer definitions that map to a physical printer and define that printer‘s capabilities and accessible features. Users connect to that printer definition, and HP PrinterOn takes care of the rest, directing print jobs submitted to that definition to the associated physical printer. Administrators can add multiple printer definitions into a group called a Secure Release Anywhere printer pool, allowing users to submit a job to the pool, and releasing it to any of its member printers.

• Pull Printing: HP PrinterOn Secure Release Anywhere provides pull print, tracking and management of mobile and desktop print workflows.
• Desktop Printing with PrintWhere: PrintWhere provides native Windows printing and reporting for any desktop/ laptop or Surface tablet.

The HP PrinterOn solution consists of several installable components that work together to enable web-based printing from PCs and laptops with Internet access. The HP PrinterOn solution is comprised of the following software:

• HP PrinterOn Enterprise Edition: HP PrinterOn Enterprise provides secure cloud printing for any industry and provides a complete printing platform to enable mobile printing, remote printing, desktop printing and pull printing.
• HP PrinterOn Print Delivery Station (PDS): PDS collects and distributes print jobs to a subset of HP PrinterOn-enabled printers. It provides privacy release capability that allows users to release their documents at the printer, keeping documents confidential and preventing unwanted print jobs from printing. Documents remain secure and encrypted until they are released.
• HP PrinterOn Print Delivery Gateway (PDG): PDG serves as a gateway for submitting documents to HP PrinterOn-enabled printers. PDG allows documents to be submitted from iOS devices, using Google Cloud Print or through Windows print protocols. The Print Delivery Gateway acts as a bridge that can support multiple print workflows and enables IT Administrators to streamline the deployment, management and administration of the HP PrinterOn service and associated printers.
• HP PrinterOn PrintWhere: PrintWhere enables any Windows-based PC, laptop, or Surface tablet to print to any HP PrinterOn-enabled print device. PrintWhere eliminates tedious printer configuration and empowers users to discover and print to printers anywhere in the world.
